Join us for Continuing Education presentations with a twist from top industry professionals!

The twist is the interactive portion of the program where you can glean additional knowledge from a group of unrelated design professionals from various points of view and have the chance to interact together in a non-competitive environment.

It's free to attend for members and non-members. Register once for the event and attend any or all sessions.

Topics and presenters are:

Session One: Designing Commercial Projects with Manufactured Masonry presented by Mike Guttenberg, Area Sales Manager, Stone Division of Boral.

Credits: AIA and HSW (1 learning unit)

Description: Discusses benefits of specifying architectural stone veneer and provides information on proper installation techniques. Topics include a breakdown of the innovative mold technology used by industry's leading manufacturers of architectural stone veneer and what to look for in a high quality product. An in-depth overview of installation techniques will be conducted and a discussion on how to evaluate alternative wall systems and regulations.

Session Two: Resinous Floors & Walls Performance, Applications & Installation by Tyler Tennant, CSI, CDT, LEED Green Associate, Architectural/Engineering Representative - Rockies West, Stonhard, Inc.

Credits: AIA and HSW (2 learning units)

Description: This presentation reviews polymer flooring and wall systems, and, distinguishes the differences between coatings, broadcast, self-leveling and trowel applied flooring systems. Applications and areas of use are reviewed for industrial and/or commercial environments. Topics such as chemical resistance, design, performance technology, surface preparation, installation techniques and engineering details are presented.
